Art Museum News "Fukuoka Art Museum Collection Exhibit"

From September 15 to November 4,the Yokosuka Museum of Art will feature their special exhibit,"Modern Art Revisited:from the collection of Fukuoka Art Museum."
From surrealism,abstract expressionism,to pop art,the art of the 20th century was pioneered by the experimentation of western artists.As it was developing,it shook the art world with its intense impact and came to be called Moderm Art.This special exhibit is held in full cooperation with the Fukuoka Art Museum to feature 67 carefully serected renowned modern art pieces from its impressive collection.
You will be able to see pieces from European masters such as Chagall,Miro',Dali',Delvaux,Leonard Foujita;icons of pop art such as Warhol and lichtenstein;and post-80s artists such as Basquiat and Yayoi kusama.
See the Fukuoka Art Museum's prominent collection of famous works and experience these amazing 20th century modern art pieces.
Additionally,special collection exhibits featuring Koji Nakazono and Rokuro Taniuchi will also be on display until September 30.
General admission costs 900 yen,and free for junior high school students and under.
